Hello Jackets,
It’s been 40 years since the Class of 1986 officially “got out,” and I’d say that’s worth more than a casual nod and a nostalgic sigh. It’s time to come back to North Avenue, reconnect with classmates, and celebrate four decades of life, laughter, and lasting Tech pride.
Our 40th reunion year is officially underway! From now through Homecoming & Reunion Weekend on October 22–24, 2026, it’s time for our classmates to rally around shared goals — all leading up to an unforgettable weekend back on campus. Your participation will make this reunion what it’s meant to be: a celebration of the people who made the Class of 1986 extraordinary.
Leaving Our Class Footprint
Reunions aren’t just about looking back, they’re about leaving something meaningful behind.
A proud reunion tradition is making a class gift to Georgia Tech in honor of this milestone. Our reunion planning committee will set a class fundraising goal, and all alumni from the Class of 1986 are invited to participate at any level. Together, we can celebrate the past while investing in the future of our alma mater.
Fall will be here before you know it. Join your classmates to raise a glass, share a few stories, and toast 40 remarkable years since we “got out.”
Go Jackets!
