ONE WEEKEND. A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES.
Let's Create A Class of 1986 Legacy Together
An important aspect of Tech’s 40th reunion tradition is to commemorate the occasion by funding a class gift that will leave our unique, indelible mark on Georgia Tech. After reviewing many options, the members of our reunion committee selected Klemis Kitchen Food Pantry as our class project. Klemis Kitchen provides regular service to roughly 300 Georgia Tech students that are suffering from food insecurity and estimates suggest that as many as 2,000 students could benefit from this program.
Klemis Kitchen today has no permanent funding source. To alleviate this risk, the committee has set a goal to raise at least $100,000 to establish a permanent endowment that will generate recurring annual funds in support of pantry operations. With your help, we can achieve it. You can support the endowment through a one-time gift or through a pledge commitment to be fulfilled over up to five years. I hope you will join us in contributing to this worthy cause!
To make your gift to the Class of 1986 Klemis Kitchen Pantry Endowment, use the link labeled "Make a Reunion Gift" below to make an immediate gift or, to maximize your impact, use the link labeled "Pledge Your Support" to make a multi-year pledge of up to five years. Whether making a gift or pledge, in the "Designation" box select "40th Reunion" and then "Class of 1986 Klemis Kitchen Food Pantry Endowment." If you would like to direct your gift to another Georgia Tech philanthropic endeavor, there is the option to add that designation as well.
To make a gift via a donor advised fund (DAF), please use the link below labeled "Pledge Your Support" to submit your pledge amount and then separately process payment via your DAF. When doing so, list the receiving entity as the Georgia Tech Foundation and state that the gift is to the benefit of the Class of 1986 Klemis Kitchen Pantry Endowment.
Progress Toward Our Goal: $59.2K raised | $100K goal
Please note that due to processing time, it could take up to two weeks for gifts to be reflected in the barometer totals.

Hello Jackets,
It’s hard to believe it’s been 40 years since we “got out!” It doesn’t feel all that long ago that we were trudging our way up freshman hill, heading to games at Grant Field, or squeezing in those late nights studying on campus — long before Wi‑Fi made everything easier. Tech really shaped so much of who we are.
As leaders of our 40th Reunion Committee, we invite you to return to Georgia Tech for Homecoming Weekend on October 22-24. We will reconnect, make new friends, reminisce about our years on campus, and admire all the ways the campus has expanded. We hope you will make plans to attend our 40th reunion class party on Friday, October 23.
An important aspect of Tech’s 40th reunion tradition is commemorating the occasion by funding a special class gift that will leave our unique, indelible mark on Georgia Tech. After reviewing many options, the members of our reunion committee selected Klemis Kitchen Food Pantry as our class project. Klemis Kitchen provides support to Georgia Tech students who are experiencing food insecurity.
The committee has set a goal to raise at least $100,000 to create an endowment supporting Klemis Kitchen, ensuring the essential resources will always be available for Yellow Jackets who need them. With your help, we can achieve this goal.
I hope you will plan to come back for Homecoming & Reunion Weekend as we celebrate both our 40 years as Tech alumni as well as the amazing institution and campus MaTech is today!
Thank you for your support and I hope to see you soon.
Go Jackets!
